Rose Thorn Stud Earrings are handcrafted in silver black rhodium. Bulbous, tactile thorns pierce the ear, as if growing out from the earlobe, emotive curves of polished silver black rhodium that terminate with a sharp point. Curving out and away from the lobe, they are securely fastened in place with a butterfly. The Rose Thorn revisits the pointed silver thorn studs from the Alexander McQueen runways of the 1990s, where Shaun Leane placed them on models’ faces with free-spirted creativity. In smaller sizes, the ferociousness and richness of nature is conveyed in an intimate, personal manner.
